Mutts4Trucks in Music City

Mutts4Trucks Makes a Positive Impact on Truckers' Well-Being.
The first Mutts4Trucks event was held on September 27th, 2019, at the Candy Bass TA Truck Center in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The Nashville Humane Association brought some energetic pups that were looking for their forever homes. Country music star, Cassadee Pope, and YouTube trucking couple, The Crafty Truckers, joined the fun. Along with games and food, there was a play area for the drivers to have a chance to meet and bond with their potential co-pilots.

Amber Carlton–Wise, a new long–haul driver, adopted a dog at the event because she gets lonely while driving. “I’m lonely, sometimes I get bored, or when I go home on home–time, I don’t know what to do because I’m so used to trucking now,” she said. “So, I said I have all this time and I got love — everyone’s got love to give — so I'll use that love for a pup.”

Every driver who adopted a dog received a car-safe harness, a leash, PEDIGREE® dog food, a coupon for an oil change from Mobil Delvac™ and more.
